Jackal Tactical offers comprehensive firearms training for all skill levels. Each course emphasizes safety, legal responsibility, and practical skill development.

Class Format
All courses are kept small—limited to just 3 students maximum—to ensure personalized attention and maximum skill development. You’re not just another face in a crowded class. You get real instruction, immediate feedback, and the time you need to develop competence.

Private 1-on-1 Training: Available for ALL courses for those who want dedicated, intensive, personalized instruction.
All courses will be done at Pikes Peak Gun Club!

Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) Course: Meet all state and El Paso County requirements to obtain your Colorado CCW permit. This comprehensive course covers legal responsibilities, self-defense law, live-fire qualification, and proper function/operation of the typical semi-auto pistol.

What You’ll Learn:
– Colorado self-defense laws and legal use of force
– Legal responsibilities of concealed carry permit holders
– Live-fire qualification to state standards
– Firearm safety and proper handling techniques
– Marksmanship fundamentals

Duration: 8hr –This course can be SPLIT into two 4hr sessions, contact directly to schedule-
Prerequisites: Must be 21+ and legally eligible to own a firearm
What to bring: Semi-Auto Pistol, 150rds, Concealment holster
This course meets all curriculum requirements mandated by current Colorado law and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. Upon completion, you’ll receive certification to submit with your CCW permit application.

Pistol B(Basic): Learn the fundamentals of safe and effective pistol handling. Perfect for new shooters or those looking to build a solid foundation. This course is designed for Semi-Auto Pistols. No revolvers.

What You’ll Learn:
– Firearm safety rules and range protocols
– Proper grip, stance, and sight alignment
– Loading, unloading, and malfunction clearing
– Marksmanship fundamentals
– Safe storage and handling

Duration: ~4hours
Prerequisites: Own a Semi-Auto Pistol.
What to bring: Semi-Auto Pistol, 200rds, OWB holster

Pistol A(Advanced): Take your pistol skills to the next level with dynamic shooting scenarios and tactical applications. No Revolvers.

What You’ll Learn:
– Drawing from holster
– Shooting from multiple positions
– Movement and target transitions
– Stress inoculation drills
– Advanced malfunction clearing
– Competitive and tactical shooting techniques

Duration: ~4hrs
Prerequisites: Basic Pistol Course or equivalent experience
What to bring: Semi-Auto Pistol, 200rds, OWB holster

Rifle/carbine B(Basic): Master the fundamentals of rifle and carbine platforms in a safe, structured environment. This course is designed for Semi-Auto Rifles/carbines(e.g. AR15, AK47, etc.)

What You’ll Learn:
– Rifle safety and handling
– Proper shooting positions (standing, kneeling, prone)
– Zeroing and sight adjustment
– Reloading techniques
– Basic marksmanship at multiple distances

Duration: ~4hrs
Prerequisites: Own a Semi-Auto Rifle/Carbine
What to bring: Acceptable Firearm with Sling, 2 magazines and 200rds

Rifle/Carbine A(Advanced): Develop tactical proficiency with your rifle through dynamic drills and real-world scenarios. This course is designed for Semi-Auto Rifles/carbines(e.g. AR15, AK47, AK74u, etc.)

What You’ll Learn:
– Shooting on the move
– Transitions between targets
– Use of cover and concealment
– Low-light shooting techniques
– Advanced tactical applications

Duration: ~4hrs
Prerequisites: Basic Rifle/Carbine Course or equivalent experience
What to bring: Acceptable Firearm, 200rds, Sling, 3 magazines

Home Defense Fundamentals: This course is for Pistol OR Rifle. Prepare to protect your home and family with practical defensive skills for real-world scenarios. This course focuses on threat assessment, tactical movement, and effective use of firearms in a home environment.

What You’ll Learn:
-Threat assessment and decision-making under stress
-Movement and positioning in confined spaces
-Use of cover and concealment inside structures
-Low-light shooting techniques (most home defense occurs at night)
-Colorado castle doctrine and legal use of force in your home
-Weapon staging and quick access strategies
-Family safety planning and communication

Duration: ~4 hours
Prerequisites: Must have completed Basic Pistol or Basic Rifle, OR demonstrate equivalent proficiency
What to bring: Semi-Auto Pistol OR Rifle/Carbine, 200rds, holster/sling, flashlight
